You’re Gone
You’re Gone
I try to stop these memories,
They flow all around me,
Like this darkness,
I close my eyes tightly
But your face is still there
Painted in my head
As anger fills my heart
What makes it hurt the most
Is the thought of you not here
I step outside myself
To lose these thoughts of you
But nothing works
The pain is just too much
To overcome
And to forgive you.
