Cheese Sauce – Tuesday Quick Recipe

Ingredients

2 tablespoons butter

Plain Flour

2 tablespoons plain flour

Whole Milk

240ml milk

Grated Cheese

170g grated Cheddar cheese

Black Pepper Salt

salt and ground black pepper to taste

Wooden spoon/silicone spoon for stirring

Method

Melt the butter in the pan over a medium heat. Whisk in the flour until it’s smooth. Add the milk and use the wooden spoon to stir for about 3 minutes until the mixture has thickened. Then add the grated cheese and stir for a further 3 minutes until all the cheese has melted. I like to add the salt and pepper before the cheese it totally melted.
