A-Z of my favourite films

A-Z of my favourite films

A friend gave me this one to try out to see if I could come up with an A-Z of my favourite films so here goes:

A – Aliens films – all of them send me on a rollercoaster of fear, suspense and excitement.

B – Back to the Future III – I love this one the best.

C – Commando – I’m a sucker for an Arnie movie.

D – District 9 – such a good film, wish they had really carried on this series.

E – Expendables – all the cool guys in one film, what’s not to love?

F – The Fifth Element – I remember going to the cinema to see this one when I was in high school, still a great film.

G – Guardians of the Galaxy – any film with them in it is so funny and I especially loved the first film.

H – This one was difficult because I can’t choose between Hancock – by far the best film Will Smith has EVER been in in my eyes, I could watch this movie on repeat it’s just so funny at bits and Hitman – I loved the games and this film just brought them to life for me.

I – Inception – the first time I ever watched this film it kind of reminded me of the Matrix, but it’s a great film on it’s own merits.

J – John Wick – both films are really good and I do love a

K – Karate Kid – I used to watch this one over and over again when I was a kid, wishing I could do Karate like that.

L – Logan – this one was only recently added to my list of cool films.

M – The Matrix – the first one is really amazing, does get you thinking, is this reality or just a dream?

N – National Treasure – for me (I know some people will hate me for saying this) hands down these beat Indiana Jones and I do love watching these films, they make me feel like a kid again.

O – Ocean’s Eleven – I enjoy films with lots of moving parts that all come together at the end and this film it exactly like that for me.

P – The Pagemaster – this was the first film I saw that went from real to animation, this blew my mind when I was a kid.

Q – Queen of the Damned – still one of my favourite films and I still have the soundtrack on my playlist.

R – Riddick – I’m not a huge Vin Diesel fan, but I think the Riddick films are really well done.

S – Star Wars – don’t ask to pick a favourite coz I love them all.

T – Terminator 2 – Judgement Day – by far the best of the franchise.

U – U-571 – this film has so many ups and downs in it that you can’t help but feel sorry for the person who went into the reactor room, such a good film.

V – Veronica Mars – I always loved the TV show, so when they made a film I was over the moon and this didn’t disappoint.

W – Walking Tall – this is such a funny film.

X – X-Men – I love the comics so when they began this franchise I was really excited and the films didn’t disappoint.

Y – Yes Man – this film is a little gringy but still funny at certain points.

Z – Zootopia – this is such a feel good film that takes on the idea that even someone small teaming up with the unlikely and thwarts an evil plan.
