Pizza sauce – Tuesday Quick Recipe

Pizza sauce

Ingredients

puree

175g tomato purée

Olive Oil

5 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

Garlic Powder

3 tbsp garlic granules

SaltBlack Pepper

Pinch of salt and black pepper

Oregano

1/2 tbsp dried oregano

Basil

1/2 tbsp dried basil

Rosemary

1/2 tsp dried rosemary

Water

300ml water

Red Bowl
Mixing bowl

Silicone serving spoon

Serving spoon (to mix ingredients)

Method

Mix together the tomato purée and olive oil. Mix well. Add the garlic granules, a pinch of salt and pepper, oregano, basil and rosemary. Mix well and gradually add the water, stop when you reach your desired consistency. Let stand for several hours to let the flavours blend. No cooking necessary, just spread on pizza base.

I like to make double this and freeze half so I have enough for 2 small pizzas so the kids can make their own pizzas during the holidays.
