My Travel Wish List

My Travel Wish List

Places I would love to visit if I had the time, or money:

Aurora Borealis
Aurora Borealis

Svalbard, Norway – to be able to watch the Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights), it’s further north than Scotland so much colder (I know what you’re thinking, surely not colder than Scotland? But it is and being further north means it would be clearer).  Also being able to see Polar Bears and other Arctic Circle animals outside of the zoo would be amazing.

Niagara Falls
Niagara Falls

Niagara Falls, Canada – preferably travelling from Toronto which I would love to visit as well.

Kangaroo Santuary

Australia – there are so many things in Australia I would love to see including the Kangaroo Sanctuary.

Fiordland National Park

New Year
New Zealand, New Year Fireworks

Fiordland National Park, New Zealand – and being a LOTR fan…to see Hobbiton of course!  To be in New Zealand on new years eve to experience new year a day ahead of all my family back home in Scotland would be super cool!Mount Fuji

Mount Fuji, Japan – in pictures and films the snow topped mountain surrounded by the fields of cherry blossoms (which I also love btw) I would love to go an take my own photo of that scene.

Plitvice Lakes National Park

Plitvice Lakes National Park, Croatia – I’d love to go hiking here as it is simply beautiful.

Machu Picchu

Machu Picchu, Peru – I think these 15th century ruins of the citadel would really cool to see, even just to do a fly over would be impressive.

Zhangjiajie National Forest

Zhangjiajie National Forest, China – those pillar like mountains are impressive and I’d love to see them up close.

Seljalandsfoss, Iceand – this looks like one of the most majestic waterfalls and I’d really love to see it.

Torres Del Paine National Park

Torres Del Paine National Park, Chile – the attraction is that mix of mountains, glaciers, forests and lakes they look breath-taking.  Anywhere that is warm but has glaciers in view always fascinates me.

Manarola, Italy – just the way all the buildings are built into the hillside looks stunning but seeing the grapevines and lemon groves would be a bonus.

Uyuni Salt Flats

Uyuni Salt Flats, Bolivia – I’ve only ever seen these on Top Gear years ago (I know weird right) but the minute I saw them I had to look the salt flats up to see if they were real and how I can get there, of course.  Because the surface reflects the sky, it looks like you are floating on the clouds!
