Easy Chocolate Brownies
Ingredients
225g butter
400g caster sugar
60g cocoa powder
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
4 eggs
225g plain flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
Equipment
Hand blender or stand mixer
Greaseproof paper
Baking tray
Method
Preheat the ovento 180 C / Gas mark 4.
Mix all ingredients in the order stated in the ingredients list above.
Grease the greaseproof paper and place on the baking tray.
Bake for 20 – 25 minutes in a rectangular (a tray of roughly 23x33cm is best and gives you about 20 brownies).
Allow them to cool, then slice into equal square portions.
