As soon as the first leaves began to turn any colour but green, my excitement rose! I love Autumn (not as much as Winter, but it’s my second favourite season), all those colours and the physical change in the trees.
This means the kids and I get to dust off the craft supplies (like we need an excuse) and get creative 😀
…and of course the good old glue gun always helps.
To make the napkin rings, we wrapped the twine around the toilet roll tubes, and glued the end into place. Then glued on the 2 with yellow leaves, 2 with red leaves and 2 with hedgehogs.
For the leaf garland, we glued 2 same coloured leaves on either side of each fairy light. The leaves can still easily be removed if the lights needs replaced. I made sure to buy low wattage lights so they would not burn through the leaves and cause a fire.
